This site is a destination for users to report performance problems with AutoCAD directly to the AutoCAD engineering team.

Who:

The tools and web site are developed by the AutoCAD engineering team who are working to improve AutoCAD performance. Using the web site and plugins developed by the team, users can demonstrate performance problems and report them to the AutoCAD engineering team.

Why:

Performance problems can have unexpected causes. Using the tools provided through this program gives the engineering team detailed information about what users are doing when they encounter problems, as well as giving users an opportunity to provide detailed information about how the problem affects their work.

How:

AutoCAD installs with a small plugin. This plugin defines commands which can be used to send reports to the site directly from within AutoCAD. Users can also log into this web site to view, edit, or delete reports they have submitted.

Requirements:

These tools work on AutoCAD 2014 or later, running on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008, or later. You will also need to log in using your Autodesk 360 account to submit reports.

How to use the tool:

In AutoCAD, simply type PMTOGGLE or PMSTART, and follow the instructions on screen. To end the recording, type either PMTOGGLE again, or PMSTOP.
